On a winter day in 2005 I went on a trip to the Dutch island Schiermonnikoog that is located in the north of The Netherlands. After arriving by boat on a perfect sunny day the weather changed dramatically. The next morning the whole island was covered with snow. I rented a bike the day before but biking was no option with this kind of weather. To check the weather forecast I turned on the television. There was no signal to find. Only the interrupted noisy sound of a few stations and the images of fussy dots.
That was when I took my camera and filmed the video called Disturbance. The video takes 03:21 minutes.
