Dear Readers,
I am working on a separate page for the Seh-Container Projekt. The project will take place in September 2008 and is planned as a traveling exhibition, which will go to four different cities in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It will take four weeks, one week in each city. Four artists were invited to show their artwork, each in one 20 foot cargo container. The cargo container is open to the public, exact dates will follow soon.
My project is to build a Camera Obscura from the container. That means I will be working inside the
container, and that I will take large portrait photographs and pictures of the cities.
If you are interested in getting more information on the technique of old cameras, please come by and have a look. I will be present there most of the time. A good opportunity for discussion, and I will also give you an explanation on the workings of this gigantic camera.
